From desert cat to trail companion.
Cheeto began life outdoors in the Arizona desert. After being rescued, he never stopped wanting to explore it. Safe, supervised walks became the compromise: a secure harness and leash, water, shade, and a backpack ride whenever four paws are no longer the safest way home.
Today, Cheeto's real adventures inspire the Nomadic Paws Trail Journal, practical cat-hiking guides, videos, and products designed around richer lives with cats.
He is not presented as proof that every cat should hike. Cheeto is one individual cat whose temperament, training, equipment, and relationship with his person make carefully planned adventures possible.
